Annual General Meeting 2012
The Annual General Meeting was held at Lutyens House on 4th February 2012.
In addition to the normal business, including the results of the Council Elections, the results of the Special Reolutions member vote were read.
The Association is pleased to confirm that both Resolutions were carried by majority.
1 That the Articles and Bye-laws of the Association of Building Engineers be altered to reduce the Board (previously referred to as Council) to 1 President, 2 Vice-Presidents and 10 Ordinary Members (including up to 4 co-opted members)
2 That the Articles and Bye-laws of the Association of Building Engineers be altered to follow Companies House model Articles, adopting best practice and improving understanding. Former Articles which do not align with this model are being transferred to the Bye-laws of the Association.
As such the revised Articles and Bye-Laws were formally adopted.
