| PREVENT SCALDING WATER IN EXISTING INSTALLATIONS, SAYS HONEYWELL | |
| All existing bath and shower installations in public, residential and commercial premises should be upgraded to provide the same protection from injurious scalding hot water as is now necessary in new homes, says Honeywell, the leading manufacturer of water valves and heating controls.

| LIMESCALE PROTECTION AS STRONG AS BULLET PROOF GLASS | |
| The Saipa Shishe Company produces specialist glass such as laminated and tempered automotive glass, safety glass, and bullet proof glass. In production, the company relies on an autoclave, a machine that uses the three-stage process of heating, holding and cooling to laminate glass. The generic building will be constructed in the exhibition hall using real Offsite technologies, with real interfaces, by real workers, in a small space with difficult access and a tight deadline. It won’t try to hide anything, but rather is intended to illustrate the benefits of using Offsite for complex and challenging areas, as well as for standard processes and more straightforward builds. • Further information from Bob Mears, Mtech Consult Ltd, Maple House, Shrewsbury Business Park, Shrewsbury SY2 6LG. | SPACIOTEMPO WINS PRAISE FOR ADAPTABILITY | |
| Dril-quip Europe Ltd, located in Aberdeen, were looking to extend their facility and looked to Spaciotempo which offers off-the-shelf and bespoke solutions for companies with temporary structure requirements to help establish a design that would work within the restraints of the site.
A crucial element of the design was the provision of a 10m door. Spaciotempo sourced an instant pass door much lighter in weight and practically self supporting thanks to the installation of a steel goal post type sub-frame. Combined with 3 single personnel fire doors, thermo roof and gables and single skin steel cladding to the walls, the structure has exceeded all expectations. • Further information from Spaciotempo UK Ltd.
