
The 86th Annual General Meeting of the Association of Building Engineers will be held at Lutyens House, Billing Brook Road, Weston Favell, Northampton, on Saturday 4th February 2012, at 9.30 a.m. for the following purposes:
- To receive and consider the Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 August 2011.
- To receive and confirm the results of nominations and any election for Vice-President, Honorary Secretary and Members of Council.
- To re-appoint DNG Dove Naish as Auditors for the ensuing year and authorise Council to fix remuneration.
- To receive and consider the following Special Resolutions*
4.1.That the Articles and Bye-laws of the Association of Building Engineers be altered to reduce the Board (previously referred to as Council) to 1 President, 2 Vice-Presidents and 10 Ordinary Members (including up to 4 co-opted members)
4.2.That the Articles and Bye-laws of the Association of Building Engineers be altered to follow Companies House modelArticles,adopting best practice and improving understanding. Former Articles which do not align with this model are being transferredto theBye-laws of the Association.
