The Association endeavours to represent the views and interests of its members by responding to consultations which are issued by various government agencies and other bodies.

Consultation on a Revision to Fire Safety Guidance for Care Homes and the Quality Assurance of Persons who Offer Fire Risk Assessment Services
The main driver for this consultation has been Scottish Ministers' commitment to respond to the recommendations of the Rosepark Fatal Accident Inquiry and consider issues and comments raised as part of that process. We welcome views from persons on the content of the revised care home fire safety guidance and also as to any problems with the quality of fire risk assessments in Scotland and if so, what could be done to address the problems?

Consultation on Fees for Planning Applications 2012
The purpose of this consultation is to seek views on draft regulations that set out a new fee structure and level for planning applications in Scotland.
