Chartered Environmentalist

The Association is proud to annouce that it has been accepted as a Constituent Member Body of the Society for the Environment and is now inviting Corporate and Fellow members (MBEng/FBEng) to apply for Chartered Environmentalist status.

The title of Chartered Environmentalist captures a wide range of disciplines and benefits all of those concerned with the environment by recognising the equality of excellence across a broad range of environmental disciplines. Applicants will be required to submit a complete Curriculum Vitae and Professional Statement which:

As part of the ethics of the Chartered Environmentalist qualification, you are encouraged to submit your application electronically. To facilitiate this we have provided an Application Form in Microsoft Word format which can be completed and returned via e-mail. Alternatively, if you are unable to view this document, you can download the Application Form in Adobe Reader (PDF).

Also available are guidelines of how to cover all of the areas required as part of the application.

The ABE will be able to award Chartered Environmentalist status from 01 September 2008 however applications are currently being accepted. During the period 01 September 2008 - 31 August 2009, applications will be processed by means of a CV and Personal Statement. After 01 September 2009, all applicants will be required to undertake a Professional Interview. Further clarification can be sought by contacting the Membership Department.
