The degree programme, run in conjunction with Sheffield Hallam University, provides ABE members the opportunity to gain full membership through a high quality learning experience.
Members are able to:
- acheive an honours level degree
- develop academic and lifelong learning skills
- increase subject specific knowledge and skills in professinoal practice
- allow Associate Members to progress to Corporate membership
- develop and maintain required levels of CPD.
Attendance
The delivery of lectures, tutorials and seminars is offered on a part-time basis with each taught session taking place over five, one week long, blocks.

- Management of Health and Safety at Work
- Advanced Building Control
- Principles and practice of Management
- Project and Site Management
- Fire Studies
- Sustainable Construction
Assessment
Candidates must demonstrate that theycan apply knowledge, understanding and skills in a range of coursework assessment methods including:
- professional reports
- verbal presentations
- closed examinations
