Building Surveyors

Building SurveyorBuilding Surveyors are involved with providing professional advice in relation to the design, maintenance, alteration, repair and refurbishment of existing buildings.

They assess the condition of a property and recommend solutions where problems occur. Building surveyors will visit sites to carry
out structural surveys, undertake legal work, prepare plans and specifications and advise people on conservation and energy saving issues. A Building Surveyor will need good observational skills and have a methodical approach to carry out a survey and
will need to be able to work closely with other professions on
behalf of the client, often needing to make objectives and unbiased recommendations.
