Kevin Blunden - Deputy Chief Executive (Technical)
Kevin Blunden
Deputy to the Chief Executive with particular responsibility for technical matters. He entered Building Control as a trainee on leaving school and spent over 25 years in this field, managing both Approved Inspector and Local Authority Building Control teams before joining the ABE.
Kevin has been associated with the ABE (and formerly IAAS) throughout his career and has always had a keen interest in the education and development of those involved in the construction industry, having lectured at college on Building Construction and Regulations and giving numerous presentations on behalf of the ABE, Local Authorities, Colleges and Universities.
