



A Council Member since May 2007, Tony was previously the North West Regional Representative and Branch Chair for Greater Manchester. Currently involved within the professional interviews and entry standards sub-committee, Tony has played a part over the last ten years in the organisation of CPD events around Greater Manchester in the role of Branch Chair and Regional Representative. More recently he has taken on the responsibility of representing the ABE at local CPD events.
Born in Coventry and currently living in Bolton, Tony is Principal Lecturer, Subject Academic Leader, for the School of the Built Environment and Engineering at the University of Bolton. In this role he manage the Built Environment and Health and Safety courses within the school.
Tony is professionally involved in a number of organisations and holds the titles of Fellow of the Association of Building Engineers and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building to name a few.
Involved in higher education since 1993, Tony was previously employed in the construction industry for over 23 years, gaining experience through a number of roles from Site Engineer to Construction Director. Since entering the higher education sector Tony has completed a PhD based on Quality in New Housing, taken NEBOSH Health and Safety courses and has become a registered CDM co-ordinator.
